Urgent! We need YOU to aggressively reach out to your colleagues for a GREAT turnout at the next general meeting of the Campaign for Fair Latino Representation! If you think there are not enough young people involved, get some young people you work with to attend. If you think this is “too Puerto Rican” then get more Dominicans, Mexicans, Ecuadorians, Colombians, and other Latinos to come. So, don’t just circulate this invitation via email, make some calls as well to people and organizations you feel should be more involved, including elected officials and their staff.
Remember: El pueblo se respeta, y si no, MACETA!”
At this meeting we will bring you up-to-date on the issue and our accomplishments thus far. We will also discuss next steps in keeping the pressure on Mayor de Blasio.
